  Summer 2024 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting summers at Walt Disney World this decade.  There's something new to do at each of the four theme parks and the Disney Springs shopping district this summer. How many activities will you complete to make a magical summer? 1. Make a Splash with Tiana Splash Mountain (Tiana’s Version) is opening this summer at the Magic Kingdom! Experience the most iconic log ride in a new way. Splash Mountain has been re-themed around the hit movie T he Princess and the Frog . You’ll glide along the Louisiana swamps and meet a colorful cast of characters, new and familiar. You’ll still be able to take the 50 foot plunge from the top of the hill to the water below - if you dare.  An exact opening date has not yet been officially announced. However, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is highly anticipated.
